Trustees and Management of the Harley Trust
There are currently seven trustees.
Three trustees are appointed by, respectively, the Bishop of Leicester, Leicestershire County Council and Osgathorpe Parish Council.
There are six co-opted trustees who have between them a wide range of experience in differing fields.
The Harley Trust has two regular meetings each year in April and September but can, if necessary, meet more frequently.
Much Harley Trust business is carried out by e-mail consultation between meetings.
The administration of the Harley Trust is carried out by Charity Link.

Paul Hackwood
Paul is Chief Executive Officer of Toc H, a national social action charity. He is also a Trustee of the Henry Smith Charity, a large grant making trust based in the City of London, and the St John's Eye Hospital in Jerusalem. He has been a Canon of Leicester Cathedral for over 15 years. He lives in Ashby with his wife and family.
Leicestershire County Council Appointed Trustee
Christine Radford
Christine has represented the County Council on the Harley Trust charity since 2009. She is a widow and has 3 sons and a granddaughter.
Co-opted Trustee
Peter Sergeant
Peter taught at Loughborough Grammar School for 41 years, retiring as Assistant Headmaster in 2016. He has been an officer in the RAF Volunteer Reserve (Training) since 1982, commanding the Grammar School Combined Cadet Force contingent from 2006 to 2016. Peter serves as a county member on the East Midlands Reserve Forces and Cadet Association committee and was seconded to the Department of Education, 2003 to 2010, as a consultant for and presenter of national examination officer training.

Rosemary was co-opted as a Trustee in 2023.
Bishop of Leicester Appointed Trustee
Revd Tony Leighton
Tony is the Bishop's Officer for Retired Clergy and Widowed Families of Clergy, and the Bishop's appointee to Harley's Charities. He joined the Trustee board in 2023.
Osgathorpe Parish Council Appointed Trustee
Andrew Dodson
Andrew is the representative of Osgathorpe Parish Council, and joined the Charity in 2023.
Co-opted Trustee
Chris Sheldon
Chris was co-opted as a Trustee in 2022. His professional career covered over 40 years in Banking concluding with 10 years as CEO of a small specialist bank serving Churches and Charities. He is a Trustee of the Leicester Diocesan Board of Finance where he is additionally a member of the Audit Committee and Glebe Investments Committee plus several working groups. He is treasurer of the PCC of Emmanuel Loughborough and also supports clergy (serving and retired) as the Financial Wellbeing Coordinator in the Diocese. Chris is married with two adult sons and a labrador.
